End Of An Era

Hey everyone, this has been a week of ridiculous proportions, and not in a very great way. Let's get to it.
Sept 21, 2020 Mon
Today was P-Day! We went to St. George to get haircuts and to get my suit dry cleaned. We also grabbed Sonic for lunch. We played Dodgeball with the District which was so fun. After that talked with fam and had a lesson in the evening.

Sept 22, 2020 Tues
Today was a very chill day, not a ton of work. We did a number of contacting and had little to show to for it. We had one lesson today, the other cancelled. Oh well!

Sept 23, 2020 Weds
Today was solid, we had a couple lessons, scheduled a few lessons, filled the day with good stuff and picked up dinner that a member ordered for us from a restaurant (It was fettuccine alfredo!).

Sept 24, 2020 Thurs
Today was Zone Conference and it was pretty good. I enjoyed it more than last time. We also had two lessons after it, which is good, but also had us very tired. I also tried to upload a thank you video I edited (from the Missionaries to President and Sister Kaluhiokalani) onto my drive but it stopped working. I’ll try again tomorrow morning.

Sept 25, 2020 Fri
First things first, I uploaded the video and shared it so President and Sister Kaluhiokalani would see it later (they loved it btw, redemption for The District). Then we scheduled a time for De Voe to get a consultation for his kidney stone which hasn't passed yet. We got a day scheduled to get it removed. I won't go into great detail about how, but it'll be like how an arcade crane game works. I'll let y'all do the math.

Sept 26, 2020 Sat
Today was chill, not a lot of lessons, just one, then we did contacting and studies. We also went on a walk and stopped by Costa Vida to use the restroom and got a $25 Gift Card from some guy passing by. Nice Utah!

Sept 27, 2020 Sun
We had a couple lessons today and fasted, but otherwise there’s not a lot going on. Transfers are Wednesday and we get news tomorrow. P-Day is on Tuesday this week because of transfers. Everyone is on edge about transfers, I'm not.

Sept 28, 2020 Mon
We went to St. George for Elder De Voe's surgery, and on the way we picked up my suit from the dry cleaners. In the parking lot, while we were braked waiting for some dude to turn into a parking spot he decided not to go into that one so he backed out and into our car. "Great!" Then De Voe had his surgery which went well and we got home via the help of Williams and Nielsen. They helped us clean the apartment and we headed out. We kinda just chilled until transfer news.

So apparently De Voe and I are getting transferred. As well as most of all the homies in the District and neighboring District. I'm honestly not happy about it. The only thing I know about my new companion is he isn't the most hard working Elder, which I'm not happy about. I love all the companions I've had in the field, but by the end of the transfer I have always been acting as if I was the senior companion when I have been junior. I just want a hard working companion. Oh the Lord will test me here.

I am also very sad. A lot of the other Elders are getting transferred to different Zones, me included. So I won't be able to see them very often. But "come what may and love it" right?

I love you all. Can’t think of any spiritual thought or message of enlightenment this time I just wanna ask for you love, support, and prayers. I'm going to need them big time. I love you.

Elder Bradford
