Some VERY Exciting News
Hello everyone! Time for an update on the last week of quarantine! Also I have some exciting news to share with you a little later! Let's get to it!
November 16, 2020 Mon
Today was P-Day! I worked out, cleaned, went to the store, talked to fam, and hungout. Recently I haven't been feeling very productive or diligent so I've decided to make this week a good week!
November 17, 2020 Tues
Today was solid. We did some contacting, went for a walk, and had a member lesson over Zoom! Had a lot of downtime still, but it was an improvement!
November 18, 2020 Weds
Today was chill. We did some more contacting, scheduled a couple lessons, and Elder Johnson had his interview with President Kaluhiokalani, and that was pretty much it. Not a ton happening, but some major blessings with the members in this Stake. They've been bringing us dinners for the past few weeks and want us to have a good Thanksgiving!
November 19, 2020 Thurs
Today was legit a stellar day! I was preparing for my Training Lesson I was going to give in District Council Meeting and I got a call from President. He asked me if I was sitting down to which I responded "I am now". He told me that I'LL BE GOING BACK TO UGANDA! January 1st! This news lit me up! I couldn't relax! I had settled a bit by the time we had our District Council Meeting over Zoom (my training went great). After that Johnson and I got pizza, and I called my fam and told them the news. We had a member lesson over Zoom. I also hit my 11 month mark!! I loved today!!
November 20, 2020 Fri
Today wasn't much, but Elder Johnson hit his year mark so he burned a shirt which was hilarious. He almost burned himself multiple times. I can't believe I will be at that point in a month! One whole year!
November 21, 2020 Sat
We did some contacting and set up a couple lessons. We had service for our landlords laying sod in the backyard this time and we managed to grab some hands to help. It was a lot quicker than last time, and also still fun! Johnson and I are technically in quarantine, but tomorrow is our last day and we have no symptoms. So we are good!!
November 22, 2020 Sun
Today we had close to nothing to do. We didn't go to church, because quarantined, and we had Stake Correlation Meeting over Zoom and that was pretty much it. We did stop by Elder Nielsen's and said our goodbyes cause he is finally getting transferred out to Mesquite tomorrow. I'll see him again, eventually.
Well this was a good week and I think I was successful in that desire. I'm very thankful for a lot and President Nelson's challenge has helped me realize that. #givethanks is a wonderful trend and has helped me realize how many things and people I am thankful for. It has filled me with more joy and brought back many good memories.
So to anyone and everyone reading this I am thankful for you. You love and support me in my endeavor to invite others to come into Christ. You hope for my welfare and may even pray for me. I look forward to the day where I will see you again so I can give you a hug, look you in the eyes, and say "Thank you".
