Unexpected Transfer
Hey everybody! Time for me to update you all on my lack of adventures. Let's get to it!
November 10, 2020 Tues
Today was P-Day! Basically all of it was in preparation for Transfers on Wednesday. Elder Johnson packed, we hungout with Nielsen, Martin, and Schagel one last time, I talked with fam, and enjoyed P-Day. Elder Johnson is really nervous about going north, but I know he'll be ok.

So today started out as Transfer Day, then right before we were about to go to the transfer van for Johnson we got a call from Sister Kaluhiokalani. We are now quarantined and our transfers have been delayed for 2 weeks. We came in contact with 2 Elders who tested positive. So yeah transfers are postponed for Johnson and I, plus our companions. Oh yeah, as well as Nielsen, Martin, and Schagel, they came in contact with a different Elder who tested positive. What a crazy transfer!
November 12, 2020 Thurs
Today was solid. Did a little contacting, a little work on the computer, watched a missionary Devotional, and had a few lessons over Zoom. Quarantine is not very fun.
November 13, 2020 Fri
Today we had nothing which was rough. We did have District Council Meeting over Zoom which was good. My District is mostly the same Hanson & Butler are still there, Spotten and his new comp Campbell, Buchholz and her new comp Vorwaller, and I've got my new comp, Elder Bates, kind of. Bates is our District leader so he ran our DCM from Cedar, where he is currently at. Kinda funny.

Today we had a little contacting and that was pretty much it. Although we were given 3 pizzas which was definitely a tender mercy. Not a lot going on in these quarantine days.
November 15, 2020 Sun
Today we had a lesson in the late morning which was really great. After that there was not a lot. Stayed home most of the day and kinda relaxed. Not a whole lot we can do.
So yeah transfers didn't turn out the way we thought. Johnson and I are still together in Little Valley and our new comps are together up north in Cedar. I've talked with my new companion Elder Bates, and he seems pretty cool and pretty hard working, so I'm excited to be working with him...eventually.
This is going to be a week were patience is key. Patience with Elder Johnson, patience with myself, and patience with the work.
Mosiah 2:41
And moreover, I would desire that ye should consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to the end they are received into heaven, that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of never-ending happiness. O remember, remember that these things are true; for the Lord God hath spoken it.
I know I can do this, and if I endure it well, hold out faithful, I will recieve many blessings. I know that is true for me and it's true for you. Christ is always there to get us through our trials, always. I share that in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
I love you all. I love hearing from you. Send me an email! I love you and appreciate your support and prayers. Stay safe and be patient!
