Today was P-Day! We went to St. George to drop off our car’s mile logs, got Popeye's with Saucier and Gish, and then got HANDEL'S! They just recently opened a location in St. George. Afterwards we talked, played games, talked to family and hungout. It was a good day. It was nice to have Handel's, kinda like a piece of home.

We had Zone Conference all day 9:00-4:00. It was good. It was a long day though. We had trainings from an older couple, Pres, ZL's (Zone Leaders), Sister Training Leaders, AP's (Assistants to President), with some activities in between. Also Jeopardy on the mission training plan, which was pretty fun.

Today we scheduled quite a few lessons for the week, and were pretty productive today, Saucier and Gish took De Voe and I to record the "Plan of Salvation" Rap. It sounds really good. I also edited a video for Facebook which should be pretty good. We had a lesson w/ members which was great, then went on a walk with the ZL's. Today was good.

We had a couple of member lessons bounce us, but we were able to do service today. We layed cement w/ our landlord. It was good and brought me back to when I was helping Dad with our front yard. Building that retaining wall was a pain in the cheeks. I also posted the video on Moroni on Facebook. It's pretty good so check it out.

Today was pretty rough. We had a lot of rejection from members while trying to set up lessons with them and we had a lesson bounce us. But we did have one lesson today with some members about Miracles and that went great. Also small miracle, Trent Magill's (My MTC Comp's) sister offered to bring me in in out. It's the little things.

We started the day with service for the same woman we've worked with twice now and it was tough. She was being very particular and micro managing so it took us 3 hours for a not even full uhaul and that's no exaggeration. After that we went to help some members move into their house with several others from the Ward and it was a vastly more uplifting experience. It was efficient, fun, and stress free. We unloaded 2 trucks in 30 minutes, and not just because there were a bigger number of people, but because there was not the micro management. After service we grabbed pizza for lunch, showered, studied, contacted, and had an awesome lesson with hilarious family. Such a good end to the day.

We had a great Sunday. We went to three Sacrament Meetings and two of them revolved around a missionary theme. The first Sacrament Meeting there was a homecoming talk from a sister who served in Idaho. It was cool to see what my future may look like (when I live there and go to school). The last meeting we went to there was a missionary getting ready to leave which was cool because it brought me back to my farewell. I can't believe that was 8 months ago, and I can't believe I'm almost 1/3 done with my mission. The member lessons we had were great. We had two, and joined Gish and Saucier in a member lesson with a family. It was so fun. We also got transfer news and I think everyone is staying except for Elder Tui'one, which stinks because I really like him.
This last week had its ups and downs and the downs were pretty bad. But I could handle it and can handle more to come. Every day I have something I could complain about, if not multiple somethings, but I do my best not to. I try to look at my day for something small that made my day better. I find when I do that, my day becomes so much better and I don't feel like total trash. "Through small and simple things are great things brought to pass." Those small things can be like a snowball effect until you have so many small things to be grateful for and enjoy that the other garbage that flies at you, you just take in stride, clean yourself up, and keep moving. Things can get worse, but we can also get stronger and better. I do that by following the example of Jesus Christ, he allows us to be stronger, better, and happier. Through him all things are possible. I share that in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
I love you all, shoot me an email to let me know how you're doing, I’d love to hear from y'all. Have a good day!
Love, Elder Bradford
